I am a PhD Researcher at University College London (UCL) and Head of Research at Hazy, a synthetic data company. At UCL, I am part of the Information Security Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Emiliano De Cristofaro and Prof. David Barber.

Research

My research lies at the broad intersection of machine learning and privacy, with a focus on advancing privacy-preserving synthetic data techniques to support responsible data sharing. Specifically, I work on developing new Differentially Private (DP) generative models, evaluating various properties of existing DP generative models and mechanisms, exploring novel privacy attacks and DP auditing methods, and analyzing the legal implications of synthetic data. My work has discovered 25+ privacy-related bugs in popular open-source libraries, as well as vulnerabilities in deployed products.

My research has been published in top-tier conferences in both machine learning (ICML and ICLR) and security (USENIX Security, ACM CCS, and NDSS). My work also been integrated into Hazy’s product and deployed across numerous companies.
